Job Description:

This position is responsible for sales of integrated electronic control systems and products in an assigned territory. Additional responsibilities include: developing market awareness of security systems products integration capabilities, implementing local marketing campaigns, prospecting for major sales opportunities, and development of a strong customer base. Must possess strong communications and customer relation skills. Must have basic ability to design and configure integrated electronic control systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • To build and develop Kratos integrated electronic controls user / customer base in assigned territory
  • Develop and implement prospecting/sales campaigns
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Ability to design /configure basic fire alarm, security or communications systems
  • Fulfill revenue quotas and quote quotas as specified by management
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

Experience and Skills:

  • Adheres to the Kratos Code of Conduct & Ethics
  • Keen awareness and knowledge of the security market, its major customers / users, major competitors, and the dynamics of the market
  • Substantial knowledge of Lenel
  • Must possess local industry awareness
  • Must have competitive knowledge of all territory competitors, their markets, products, and pricing strategies
  • High integrity and trustworthiness
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High-level of integrity and trustworthiness. Must be driven and resourceful
  • Ability to report to work during customary or specifically assigned working hours
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Ability to adhere to workplace rules
  • Ability to interact appropriately with the public
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Five or more years, successful sales of integrated electronic control systems in the local market
  • Must demonstrate a consistent and proven pattern of sales success in the target market
  • Must possess the ability to market, prospect and propose major projects
  • Must be professional and articulate with high-level communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Office environment
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
