TQA Associate Architect is involved in the review of entire lifecycle of an engagement from opportunity structuring to the delivery phases and works with the practices to bring software development maturity within a practice. Key activities include following:
Technical Reviews to ensure technical quality and mitigate technical risks.
oApplication Lifecycle Management: Understands Application Lifecycle Management, Unit Testing, Build and Release management practices.
oOpportunity reviews: During opportunity structuring TQA AA is involved in reviewing and recommending best possible solution in line with MS best practices addressing customer requirements. Review scope consists of technical architecture/approach, estimation, IP re-use, and delivery methodology.
oProject reviews: During delivery TQA AA is involved in reviewing architecture, design, code and test aspects.
Architectural/technical guidance
-Understand latest architecture, technology, solutions and industry trends.
-Establish architecture/technical guidance.
-Establish engineering best practices.
-Identify & implement areas of improvement in MGSI technical and delivery processes.
Grow and mentor others
-Maintain TQA reviewers team.
-Develop TQA reviewers talent pipeline.
-Mentor consultants and architects.
-Participate in Regional TQA reviews.
-Participate in WW TQA initiatives and have align MGSI TQA with WW TQA.
Operational excellence and innovation
-Excellence in operations, reporting & well-orchestrated TQA reviews.
-Drive IP development and reuse initiatives.
-Drive best practices, architectural awareness initiatives.

Qualifications:
8-10 years related experience.
Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent

Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Building Customer/Partner Relationships, Confidence, Cross-Boundary Collaboration, Impact and Influence, Interpersonal Awareness, Services Project Management, Strategic Insight, Technology Expertise, Value Selling
Work experience should involve technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management. Must have a proven record of delivering business value. Some business process and people management skills or related experience required. Candidates must have the background to provide leadership in the practice and have demonstrated skills architecting and deploying technology to solve business problems.

People management skills are a plus for this position as this position will need to indirectly manage technical resources.
