Health Management Systems, Inc. Revenue Cycle Manager in Irving, Texas
TheRevenue Cycle Manageris responsible for maintaining and improving properly functioning revenue cycle processes through a cross-departmental organizational structure. The Revenue Cycle Manager will develop and manage policies and procedures to optimize all facets of revenue cycle operations to ensure staff compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
Essential Functions: * Analyzes and reviews billing requirements and automate the billing process * Monitors staff productivity on a daily basis * Responsible for insurance setup within EMR system * Monitors accounts receivable aging reports keeping DSO within industry standards * Manages days to bill episodic episodes below industry average * Analyzes financial information and determine financial impact for the organization * Responsible for Denials Management, including reporting, accountability and resolution * Accountable for accuracy and timeliness as work impacts revenues. * Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. * Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned staff
