Position Description:

CGI is seeking candidates for an ETL Developer position with a strategic client in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry in Jersey City, NJ. The scope of the project involves Oracle/ETL SL3 & development services for investment banking regulatory projects.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of the Problem Management process.

• Proactively identify problem trends and known error conditions and work towards a permanent solution.

• Perform trend analysis based on statistical data provided by Problem Analysts, the Incident Management Team or PM Tools.

• Work with design/architecture teams to ensure best practices are adopted to ensure stability and supportability of applications and infrastructure

• Responsible to provide problem resolution and document.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to source appropriate skills for effective problem resolution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5-7 years’ experience in ETL (Informatica is preferred), Oracle and related technologies

• 3+ years’ of experience in Relational database concepts, Data analysis and SQL

• 3+ years’ of robust Knowledge and implementation experience of Informatica is required.

• Experienced in working with Unix and Ctrl-M jobs

• Knowledge of Optimization of the ETL and Oracle Pl/SQL is a plus

• Strong communication skills

• Strong design skills

• Ability to work in agile kind of environment

• Strong client facing skills

• Ability to handle teams working in multiple sites (onsite, offshore, near shore)

• Understanding of Collateral business domain is a value add


The following skills are desirable for this opportunity:

• Understanding of capital markets and investment banking regulations is a value add


Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related degree


Corporate Brokerage / Investment banking/ regulatory projects experience

Good communication

Java development and deployment
