Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer Asc in Kirtland Afb, New Mexico
Perform technical planning, hardware integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessments, plus supportability and effectiveness for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total hardware product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total hardware solutions that acknowledge analysis, detail studies, requirements allocation, information assurance and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware specifications. Accomplishes and presents weekly, monthly, and quarterly project status reports, as required. Works closely with on-site and external customers to manage expectations and to obtain customer buy-in. Works closely with configuration management, quality assurance, and security engineering to ensure compliance with all applicable processes/procedures.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field such as Mechanical Engineering, EE, and computer networks. Must have an education of hardware engineering concepts. Must have education or experience in use of MS Office products, MS Project, and MS Visio or similar products. This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US citizen.
Desired skills Ability to lift, carry and move components of PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment Network+ certification; Security + certification; other DoD 8570 identified certifications. Good oral and written communications skills.
