Position at ITW Residential Construction Division
The ITW Construction Service & Parts (ICSP) Business Unit provides parts supply and repair services for hand tools across the entire ITW Construction North America businesses. The Marketing Intern will report directly to the ICSP Marketing Manager and will be accountable for building a competitive intelligence database of aftermarket offerings and services for our Residential Nailer product segment during Summer 2017. Additionally, the individual will assess ICSP’s own offering and make recommendations on where to make the highest leverage strategic changes. Lastly, the individual will take actions to help bolster ICSP’s online presence by improving it web content and eCommerce product presentation.

Analysis of aftermarket competitive landscape summary for Residential Nailer product segment including competitors, pricing, warranty, part availability, repair practices, website customer interface, etc.
Improve eCommerce presence of Business Unit through better online content (product descriptions, photos, web content).
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor degree with a strong analytical emphasis; Marketing, Finance, Economics or Engineering related field preferred.
Project course work that involves considerable external research, data analysis, synthesis of information for the purpose of answering a specific data-related question (preferable business-oriented), presentation of findings.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
