Summary: Generates sales of the Company products and services within the assigned scope of responsibility to achieve volume and profitability growth objectives. Build strong relationships with customers. Support customers with engineering support to bring products to production.

Analyzes the Customer Company and prints to determine if the work fits Company and provides a quality product to that customer. 2. Brings engineering support to customer to help develop products with scope of BTD capabilities. 3. Communicates with the customer on the price and information needed about the quote. Follows up on quote to see if it is competitive with this project. 4. Analyzes job history to determine new prices are available and checks on job performance. 5. Travels to customers to communicate Company capabilities and access customer needs. 6. Develops existing accounts to maximum sales potential. 7. Maintains current knowledge of all manufacturing process systems, equipment and capabilities and keeps customers informed of new developments in which they have an interest. 8. Manages and controls sales expenses within planned budgets. 9. Monitors and reports competitive activity and provides sales and marketing feedback and direction to the Sales Manager. 10. Establishes and maintains favorable work relationships with customers and prospects and develops a good image of, and customer confidence in, the Company as a favored vendor as part of overall sales strategy. 11. Forecasts order volume for the assigned customers to facilitate the Company’s objective. 12. Keeps currently informed of all matters that affect the Company.

Education, Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering/technical discipline and a minimum four (4) years’ directly related experience. Or five years of other relevant Company experience and two years of sales experience including the following skills and abilities: 1. Must understand technology and Company products extremely well. 2. Must have experience/training in computer technology including familiarity with MS Office; Axapta experience a plus 3. Must have developed good/key relationships with internal and external customers. 4. Must have demonstrated the ability to seek out and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts. 5. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. 6. Must be capable of working with a high degree of personal discipline. 7. Must have potential sales leadership qualities.
