* * The Cook assumes responsibility for the preparation and handling of hot food patients, employees, visitors and some catered events under the supervision of the Executive Chef or Production Supervisor.


*EDUCATION: *English, math and communication skills usually acquired through completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. On-the-job training in food preparation, general cooking estimating quantities of food needed and principles and requirements of sanitation and safe handling of food and equipment required. SEIU Culinary program and ServSafe certification, required.


*EXPERIENCE: *Must have a minimum 2 years previous experience in food service. Minimum 1 year hospital food service experience preferred.

*LICENSURE: *Valid Health Card
