Position Responsibilities

We need:

  • Someone with an impressive student portfolio showing both visual and interaction brilliance

  • An excellent brainstormer who can communicate their visions clearly

  • A motivated designer who prefers creating CSS assets to spec’ing their designs

  • Create and ideate with the design thinking process

  • Sketch, wireframe, design, prototype, test — then repeat

  • Whiteboard and ideate in an environment that encourages experimentation and creativity

  • Collaborate with designers, developers and analysts, learning best practices within the industry

  • Explore and create wearable experiences

  • Work on a team of inspiring designers who love what they do and encourage one another daily

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience in the Adobe suite, Sketch, and InVision

  • Online portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design skills

  • HTML 5, CSS 3. CSS pre-processor experience like SASS or LESS preferred.

  • Mobile design experience. Mobile first design preferred.

  • Designing for a responsive grid framework like Bootstrap or Foundation

  • Major plus but not required: experience with accessibility WCAG 2.0 standards, usability testing or user research experience
