INTEGRATED DEICING SERVICES, LLCPosition: Quality Assurance AuditorDepartment: Quality Assurance Reports To: Director of Quality AssuranceClassification: Exempt/Full-time Direct Reports: None Purpose of Position: This position is directly responsible for conducting and documenting operation audits for IDS stations. This person will work closely with IDS Station Managers and the Director of Quality Assurance to guarantee a high level of compliance within all aspects of IDS Operations and to ensure conformance with all airport, airline, and regulatory agencies, as well as company policies and procedures. As with all Inland/IDS operations, safety is our highest priority; this position works to guarantee the safety of Inland/IDS employees, customers, aircraft/passengers and ground equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with station management to coordinate station audits, provide information needed for airline deicing reports, handle all airline and government regulatory agency audits and inquiries related to auditsObserve and record station operations and compare to company, client, airport and government requirements for safety and performanceDevelop and fill out various audit forms as required at different intervals at Inland/IDS stations.Interact with station management to ensure compliance to company standards by supporting the base and, if needed, offering suggestions as to how to improve audit preparation and performance.Support administrative work including but not limited to such items as logs, records and manuals for each assigned deicing location throughout the Inland/IDS network.Evaluate internal operations for adequacy of facilities, equipment, procedures and overall management to ensure safe, effective and compliant operations.Should be able to design, build and edit computerized audit sheets and response programs.Coordinate investigation and reporting of incidents of non-compliance and non-conformance.Required Skills and Experience: Bachelorandrsquo;s Degree in Aviation Management, Safety Performance or similar industry. Auditing background preferred.Experience in safety and regulatory compliance preferred. Auditing experience preferred.Familiarity with the airport environment, particularly ramp services and/or deicing operations preferred.Valid driverandrsquo;s license. Should possess or be able to have issued a US Passport.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to interact with people and work with them in a team approach to repair or improve process driven events. Ability to promote and share ideas.Great attention to detail and ability to produce detailed audit reports. Audit report results must be issued with zero tolerance for errors.Ability to be impartial and result driven but should also be empathetic and helpful. Must be able to partner with people and places he/she audits so as to produce win/win solutions for audit deficiencies.Self-motivated to keep up with any and all changes within the deicing world and any resulting changes to Inland/IDS standards, policies and procedures. Should have the ability to edit audit forms as needed due to changes in manuals or policies and procedures.A team player with the ability to correct non-standard behaviors and practices while supporting the people making those changes. Ability to see across the entire range of his/her work in different bases and understand fundamental issues in system wide operations.Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use basic Microsoft programs such as word, power point and excel.
