Senior Financial Analyst

PAE, Inc. is currently looking for a qualified Senior Financial Analyst to be responsible for Cost Pool Allocations and Analysis, in the Marlton, NJ office. This position is part of the Shared Services Finance Team and reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, working closely with FP&A, Compliance, Contracts, and Program/Business Management teams.

The successful candidate will be extremely analytical and have the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop corrective action plans. Will be responsible for understanding how costs flow, identifying issues/risk/improvements and the coordination associated corrections. Will have the ability to supervise a team and assist in hiring and developing the team.

Some of the main responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain Pool setups in Deltek Costpoint System

  • Document Pool design

  • Process monthly Cost Allocations for multiple companies

  • Generate monthly Pool reports

  • Invoice applicable Allocations to Joint Ventures

  • Reconcile Pool activity monthly

  • Facilitate corrections identified from reconciliations

  • Reconciliation of Pools and Bases

  • Analyze Pool variances and impact of target vs. actual

  • Work with Compliance and FP&A in reviewing the Disclosure Statement(s) for system setup design

  • Update/Maintain burden rates – actual, target, and provisional billing rates

  • Analyze new contract wins for impact to pools and bases

  • Assist on special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required


  • This position requires U.S. Citizenship

  • Must have an Accounting Degree

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance Organization required

  • Experience with Government contracts and/or Deltek Costpoint system is highly desirable

  • Supervisory experience required

  • Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel

  • Must be detail oriented organized, with well developed written and oral communication skills

  • Must work in process-driven environment with ability to identify/initiate process improvements and efficiencies

  • Must be able to work independently, self-review, have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment
