The Rehabilitation Aide II is a vital member of the patient care team. In accordance with the patient/family plan of care, the Rehab Aide, under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist collects patient information and provides direct patient care that contributes significantly to achievement of patient and family outcomes. As a member of the direct care team, the Rehab Aide is responsible and accountable for complete and accurate data collection and recording, completion of routine and delegated direct care activities, and communicating and collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Therapist to prioritize workload so that patient care outcomes are achieved. The Rehab Aide is responsible for patient transport, information processing, department cleaning and stocking, as well as assisting with activities that support the operation of the department. This position will work within Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. This is a casual as needed opportunity. Qualifications: High School graduation or high school equivalent and completion of a Nursing Assistant course or college accredited Health Care related degree is required. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Wisconsin or equivalent license/registration/certification required. BLS certification required Experience in a health care setting is preferred (CNA, Rehab Technician, Exercise Aide)

Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is strongly preferred

Prior experience supporting Physical, Occupational, or Recreation Therapists is preferred

Medical Terminology completion preferred Job: Sports Medicine
