Surgical Technologist/Radiology Specials Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield Full time; 40 hrs/wk; 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Weekend call rotation (every 4th) Radiology Specials consists of: A seven-suite, procedural unit and the Outpatient Cardiac Center (OPCC). The OPCC provides; admission assessment and patient preparation and post-procedural, patient care. The OPCC consists of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. In the procedural suites, Patient Care is provided by a collaborative team; consisting of a Physician, a Professional Registered Nurse, a Radiology Technologist, Surgical Technician and Cardiovascular Technician. The provided services include Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology: Cardiac Catheterization Service incorporates cardiac angiography for diagnostic studies and therapeutic interventions. Vascular Service provides vascular and neurosurgical angiography for diagnostic studies and intervention, vascular access procedures, extra-vascular therapeutic procedures, and image-guided procedures. Electrophysiology Service provide arrhythmia studies; ablation interventions of ectogenic, arrhythmic foci; and, implantation and maintenance of temporary and permanent pacemaker and defibrillating devices. The surgical technologist is a member of the multidisciplinary team whose focus and ultimate goal is to achieve quality patient outcomes. The primarily tasks and responsibilities include performance duties related to scrubbing and assisting the physician in performance of procedures or other related tasks as trained. Qualifications: Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program from an accredited program/school Previous healthcare experience in an acute setting is preferred BLS (CPR) Job: Surgical
