CGI Federal has a career opening for a senior webMethods Middleware Developer Version 9.6 or higher located in Mechanicsburg, PA. webMethods developer will leverage multiple instances of webMethods as a translator for all affected business applications and related Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) developed in tandem within a centralized clustered solution.
Collaborate with project team members to fully document and define all requirements required to complete the programming and delivery of a clustered Enterprise Services Solution. Provide weekly updated Requirements Progress Tracking identifying steps, milestones, target completion dates, communication required to affirm requirements, and progress made in completion of defining requirements for each affected application. Create and maintain documentation containing Finalized Requirements, configuration management and version control history of the daily changes required to complete the full requirements definition process. Meet Client Service Level Agreement and quality assurance standards of 99% or less in error defect. Provide comprehensive testing support required to fully test and ensure the success of the Enterprise Services Solution. Testing support shall be provided to all affected Application Teams documenting test Plan, detailing testing activities, and a final Quality Assurance (QA) Checklist for each application to accuracy and success. Provide daily Customer Support to assist personnel in resolving issues and answering inquiries concerning or related to Enterprise Services Solution.
∙ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant Technical Field.
∙ 7+ years of IT including 3-4 yrs of lifecycle experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse.
∙ 5+ years related webMethods middleware platforms with hands-on working experience leading small teams. Certification is highly desirable.
∙ Must have implemented 3 major data warehouses from concept to implementation with hands-on technical experience.
∙ Solid understanding of Pushdown Optimization and significant expertise in performance tuning large data volume ETL. Ability to create ETL framework with reusable assets.
∙ 5+ years of development experience using SAG (webMethods) development environment including v9.6 or higher webMethods Broker/UM and IS Administration.
∙ Technical experience in the development of interfaces via MQ Series or JMS queues.
∙ Experience with MSSQL, Oracle RAC, and/or other RDMSs from a JDBC adapter perspective including writing of SQL queries, stored procedures, use of database triggers.
∙ Experience with creating or use of XML schemas for use in performing data mapping. Understand functional requirements; work with Business teams for resolving functional/technical issues.
∙ Develop, Review and refine technical design specifications.
∙ Provide Quality Assurance Life-cycle testing for WebMethods deliverables.
∙ Provide status to Key stake holders in the project (Client facing).
∙ Must Be Able to Obtain Secret Clearance.
∙ Provide input into high-level solution architecture.
∙ Create detailed designs for implementation and implement them.
∙ Enhance in-house knowledge of the webMethods suite.
∙ Strategically build reusable assets utilizing webMethods. Mentor and teach newer webMethods Developers best practices and techniques.
∙ Assist with answering questions during development efforts.
∙ Ability to quickly prioritize issues/requests and when needed, capable of personally diving deliverables to conclusion within an accelerated timeframe.
∙ Should be a self-starter. Excellent client-facing & Communications skills.
