WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Sales Representative, you will be part of our success by:
Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans through fact-based selling techniques to achieve win-win results
Identifying selling opportunities to grow Kellogg Sales during each store visit
Growing base sales through maximizing distribution, increasing share of shelf and ensuring Planogram integrity
Selling creative displays to be placed at optimal locations, maximizing sales
Selling incrementally to support ads and brand marketing activity
Selling in Kellogg innovation and gaining proper shelf placement
Optimizing retail coverage patterns
Identify opportunities, and communicating to merchandising resources
Developing trusted customer relationships by anticipating customer needs; providing solutions and guidance related to business opportunities
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Strong problem solving, influence, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated use of excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency working in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Minimum of 3.0 GPA (cumulative)
Intermediate technology skills such as Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, Cellular use
Flexible to be relocated to multiple geographies for post-graduate full-time placement
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This position provides participation in the Kellogg Vehicle Reimbursement or Fleet Program
Ability to drive to multiple locations throughout a regular work day
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending or carrying moderately heavy items (20-25 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodations Extended work schedule which may include some night, weekend and early morning hours
