Description Creates 5-star culinary experience for residents, catered events, Action Stations, etc. * Achieves culinary operational objectives by overseeing food preparation, implements standards for food production, productivity, quality and customer service; monitors presentation, garnishes and service. *Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining food production staff; communicates job expectations: plans, monitors, appraises, and reviews job contributions, enforces policies and procedures, and builds an engaged workforce. *Designs and implements culinary integration in menus for all venues at all locations in cooperation with Network Culinary team: develops recipes and portion specifications by understanding consumer taste and nutritional needs; reviews product specifications; evaluates ease of menu , focusing on food and cultural trends and market preferences. Intertwines menu offerings with financial considerations * Monitors food ingredients, food preparation, and general supplies; evaluate quality of fresh foods and food product deliveries; establishes inventory levels and directs receiving/ storage functions. * Maintains kitchen equipment; ensures correct operation and maintenance; evaluates new equipment; prepares administrative proposals to justify purchases. * Adheres to HACCP policies and procedures in the handling, preparation, service, and/or storage of foods and supplies. * Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, work station and area. Requirements High school diploma is required or its equivalent in quantity food preparation. Certificate of formal training in culinary arts or presently working on culinary certificate and title, evidence of training in supervisory management required. Must be able to read/write English.
