DescriptionLead the organizations global health and safetyefforts to drive best-in-class strategies related to compliance, prevention,and culture.ResponsibilitiesProvide Health and Safety expertise and leadershipin the development and deployment of a global EHS Management System, includingH&S policies, tools standards, and best practices.Developand maintain global health & safety standards to ensure necessary programsare in place to reduce employee risk and to comply with Emerson Health &Safety Standards.Lead efforts to implement a global Risk Assessment processand develop Risk Profiles for all global manufacturing sites.Prioritize risk mitigation activities with afocus on eliminating critical risks and lowering overall risk profile acrossthe organization.Identifyand recommend equipment, process and procedural changes to minimize and/oreliminate of workplace hazards.Leadthe development of global processes for change management, ergonomic riskevaluation, pressurized equipment safety, industrial hygiene, and otherareas of focus.Developand maintain expert knowledge of evolving and existing regulations anddirectives regarding exposure risks, and provide direction on anticipated,future requirements.Support global operations in the consistentapplication of EHS Management System elements to drive compliance andcontinuous improvement in safety and health performance.Workdirectly with global Site EHS Leaders to improve knowledge, understanding, andexecution of global standards and safety and health best practices.Developand deploy global audit and assessment tools to drive program consistency andimprovements across the organization.Conductsite assessments to identify risk mitigation opportunities and gaps with globalstandards.Serveas the system administrator for all globally-deployed H&S tools such as onlineSDS management, EHS reporting database, EHS Management System site, etc.Track, analyze and communicatesafety and health performance through a combination of leading and laggingindicators.Analyzeperformance trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvementthrough focusedPerformregular analysis of EHS metrics and publish monthly EHS Dashboard results.Identifyopportunities to integrate new and impactful leading metrics for safety andhealth performance.Serveas the key resource for global utilization and support of EHS reportingdatabase.Additional InformationRelocation benefits are not available for this position.This job requires the employee to travel approximately 20% of the time.VEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran ReferralsEOE -Veteran /Disabled/Minority/AA/F/M/SO
