This highly motivated, self-starter will be a software license management expert providing guidance on acceptable licensing practices. They will also be required to effectively communicate with all levels of management and influence decisions/outcomes. Responsibilities will include managing internal and external audits, designing and documenting workflows, making appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effeciveness as well as initating projects associated to software asset management governance and proceses. The Senior Analyst will work with a wide and dynamic range of global colleagues, software and projects requiring software asset managment expertise or consultation. * Analyze new and exisiting software terms and conditions to ensure the proper installation and use of a wide variety of productivity software titles * Define and execute strategies for managing and optimizing software assets * Provide clear and consise guidance on acceptable licensing practices * Lead communication and collaboration with key strategic business partners, across IT functions, Procurement Shared Services, Sourcing, Legal, and with software vendors as needed * Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard global procedures, tools and practice in support of proper software asset management activities * Manage internal and external audits * Support mergers & acquisitions activity * Establish and maintain relationships with external peers to ensure General MIlls is following and creating best practices Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree * 3-5 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications * Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) Certification or equivalent * Understanding of license optimization tool such as SNOW (desired), Flexera or Aspera * Familiarity with BMC Remedy incident and service request software or other workflow management tools CB1 DCGM Employer's Job# 7522316 Please visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
