“STAR Assist” is a collaboration and joint retail experience between RadioShack and Sprint. You will be part of a new and more convenient option for new and existing Sprint customers to meet their mobility and electronic needs within RadioShack stores. As the Mobility Development Manager, you will be the key contact for Sprint STAR Assist stores and customers, providing 1st level support to stores within your assigned market.

As a Successful Mobility Development Manager You Will:

  • Be a results oriented individual who thrives off of competition and the thrill of winning, capable of motivating others for success and passionate about mobile technology. The Mobility Development Manager reports to the Director of Mobility Development and will collaborate with the Regional Director and Market Manager.

  • Achieve local wireless sales, profit and revenue financial objectives and maximize bonus potential by growing Sprint wireless performance inside of assigned RadioShack locations by providing local leadership for STAR (Sprint Team at RadioShack) Assist market locations; champion change through new and innovative growth opportunities; consistently driving performance by evaluating results and participating in regular business reviews; providing out-bound marketing support and performance management for all assigned STAR Assist doors.

  • Expands local market wireless opportunities by forging a collaborative relationship with both RadioShack and Sprint leadership teams; serving as 1st-level support for all assigned STAR Assist locations; growing community engagement through brand advocating; demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit; championing superior customer service standards and engaging and leveraging Dealer Agents.

  • Maintains operational excellence by ensuring compliance of both RadioShack and Sprint store standards; leading implementation of corporate-driven strategy and special events; implementing operational efficiencies, productivity and quality; completing regular store visits; protecting company assets and implementing change.

  • Supports local human resource standards by recruiting, hiring, leading in-store training, coaching and ensuring the wireless talent development of the teams in their market.

Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience Required

  • Additionally, 5 years minimum equivalent experience in wireless retail sales and retail store operations. Multi-unit experience preferred.

  • Availability meets the needs of a retail business including days, evenings, weekends and holidays (minimum 45 hours/week).

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, & Word.

  • Ability to travel between assigned locations (40%-50%) with possible overnight stays.
