Reporting To: AssociateDirector, Fabry Disease (Canada)
Required Education: Bachelor’sDegree (or equivalent)
Language: English- Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset

Responsible forachieving or exceeding P&L (revenue and profitability) targets for Fabrazymeand any other brand(s) within the Fabry franchise assigned in the future
Using strategic thinking and expert knowledge ofthe brand planning process, develop and execute 5-year and annual strategic/tacticalmarketing plans for assigned products through engagement of support functionssuch as Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Government Affairs / MarketAccess
Analyze, strategize, organize and drive timelyexecution of annual marketing plans to achieve superior results
Develop strategic scenarios and financialssupported by clear assumptions
Ensure that the marketing strategy and marketaccess strategy are aligned
Maintain pricing framework for each provincewith clear strategies to minimize price erosion
Evaluate marketenvironment using all available data on all customers and patients and clearlycommunicate a full understanding of key dynamics
Anticipate futurecompetitor strategies and tactics by ensuring team has access to all marketintelligence data and encourage cross-functional colleagues to contribute
Interact withkey customers and patients to fully understand their needs
Understand Fabrydisease in terms of disease epidemiology, diagnosis rates, barriers to diseasemanagement, current disease treatment options, pros and cons of differenttreatment options
In collaboration with various support functions,ensure sufficient product supply, favourable market access and efficientdistribution for Fabry brand(s) within Canada
In collaboration with Medical Affairs,contribute to the planning and implementation of high risk screening programs,clinical research and approved ISSs
Manage promotional and assigned non-productexpense budgets
Manage product forecasting with responsibilityfor monthly, quarterly and annual P&L results
Develop promotional materials and campaigns,including: sales tools, productmessaging, direct mail / social media / Internet, PR campaigns, advertising,teleconferences
In conjunction with Government Affairs and MarketAccess personnel, secure / maintain reimbursement for assigned product in allprovinces and with private payers
Set clear field force objectives, in agreementwith Associate Director, to achieve brand objectives
Actively involve representatives of thesalesforce and medical in the development of the strategic brand plan andindividual marketing tactics
Assist in the development and implementation ofsales meetings
Manage national / local advisory groups andtreatment guidelines/consensus statements
Organize and enable patient advocacy groups tosupport product(s) and access to care
Business travel is required approximately 10-20%of the time, within Canada (regular) and internationally (sporadic).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
MBA or graduate degree a plus
4 years direct sales in pharmaceutical/biotechindustry preferred
Minimum 4 years product management experience orequivalent in related area (experience in rare disease marketing and/orNephrology marketing a plus)
Experience in new product launches in relatedarea is an asset
Working knowledge of reimbursement on provincial and private payerlevels
