Works in the warehouse or stock room to pull items to meet parts lists. Ensure that a requested kit is directed to the appropriate area. May be certified or trained in operating machinery used for moving heavy items.
Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience.
Works under close to moderate supervision.
Little latitude for independent judgment
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Unloads and loads product from/to incoming and outgoing delivery trucks in a safe manner.
Verifies proper receipt of products.
Moves pallets of product to designated area in the facility.
Stocks office supplies for internal office areas.
Reads work orders or receives and listens to oral instructions to determine work assignment.
Performs other routine jobs as directed by leadership.
Responsible for clean-up of designated areas.
Conducts all aspects of the material handling job safely and efficiently.
Receives and applies training in the proper handling, movement and storage of materials.
Reports safety violations to Supervisor or Manager.
Corrects observed unsafe handling practices of self and peers.
Contributes to Brownells’ goal of providing a hazard-free workplace.
Participates in continuous process improvements
Works cooperatively with management personnel and fellow employees to accomplish objectives.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience
H.S. Educ. Or Equivalent
Haz-Mat Shipping Regulations
Organize and store supplies
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills

Operate a forklift
Gathering and using information
Ability to posess a valid Driver’s License
Able to operate company vehicles
Able to read written instructions
Frequent lifting up to 72 lbs.
Able to safety climb ladders
Able to work at heights up to 30 feet
Work in conditions ranging from 40-100 degrees
Operate Hand Jacks
Able to safely operate lifts
