This is a contingent job position

PAE is seeking All Senior IED & Insurgency Analysts. This person will function as part of a team. The analyst shall be responsible for:

  • Conducting all-source intelligence analysis to identify insurgent and IED networks

  • Coordinating with other CITP teams including WTI, the Direct Support SIGINT Element (DSSE), and NGA GEOINT support to produce assessments and targeting products

  • Developing regional network assessments of IED and insurgent networks and producing targeting support products for deployed forces

  • Preparing and presenting intelligence briefings and presentations

  • Evaluating information reporting and sources and answer Requests for Information (RFI), and developing Source Directed Requirements (SDR), populating and maintaining CITP databases, production trackers, and files

  • Capable of deployment throughout theater of operation to conduct counterinsurgent and IED network analysis

  • Producing intelligence assessments for formal production and release to the Intelligence Community (IC) and other consumers, and coordinating with other NGIC offices, IC organizations and theater intelligence resources to gather additional information and share analytic conclusions

  • Identifying new networks and targets on which to focus analytic efforts, and assisting with the training and mentoring of Novice and Journeyman Analysts

Required Qualifications :

  • Current TS/SCI security clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree (may substitute 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

  • 8 years intelligence analysis and targeting experience with experience in Afghanistan preferred NOTE : A badge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with 8 years of experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/Federal Law Enforcement agency is acceptable on a case by case basis

  • Knowledgeable of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle and intelligence analytic techniques including trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis and network or social network analysis

  • Experienced with data processing systems (e.g., DCGS-A, CIDNE, and SIPRNET and JWICS), and working knowledge of i2 Analyst Notebook, AXIS Pro, WebTAS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth

  • Possess strong research and writing skills and capability of effectively operating alone in support of tactical, strategic, and special forces conducting counter insurgent/IED targeting

  • Proficiency using basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

  • Train and mentor junior analysts to prepare them for deployment and understand intelligence requirements for both lethal and non-lethal targeting

  • Requires former MOS 31D, 311D, 35F, 350F, 35D, 18F, 180A or civilian 0132, 1811 or service equivalent

Desired Qualifications :

Experience in either IED/C-IED, CT, Afghanistan regional issues.
