PAE is seeking a Carpenter to provide support to our customer in an OCONUS location:
Essential Job Duties
Performs the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors.
Plans and lays out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments, makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, and selects materials necessary for the work
Held within the last seven to ten years, an active Top Secret security clearance.
Four years or more experience as carpentry lead. Experience in an overseas environment desired
High School diploma or equivalent five to seven years of related experience as a journeyman-level craft worker. Master carpenter certification desired.
Experience performing quality painting and repair or replacement of windows, doors, locks, wood furniture and carpentry-related light construction work
Ability to work effectively with multi-national staff and demanding customers
Knowledge of applicable international codes and acceptable trade practices
Knowledge of all principles and processes involved in operating and supporting appliance functions at an overseas facility
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer services
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change
Expert English communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information
Ability to live and work in an austere and dangerous environment
