TriStar Skyline’s Madison Campus is a mental health hospital that provides behavioral health services to the greater Nashville area.

Our behavioral health facility is staffed by psychiatrists, therapists, nurses and other specialists that are dedicated to treating individuals who are facing mental health conditions and disorders. Our mental health treatments are designed for each individual patient and include inpatient care, partial hospitalization and intensive out patient care. Our behavioral health navigator works with individuals and families to find the right programs and services for each patient.

These programs incorporate the new treatment mall concept, which enables patients to select from numerous skills based classes that meet their specific treatment objectives. The classes enable patients to participate in treatment that takes place apart from their units to more closely imitate life in the community. Patients participate in activities like physical exercise and games while learning organization, personal life, coping, problem solving and stress management skills.

Position Responsibilities: 1. Assures continual state of survey readiness. 2. Reviews and communicates rules/regulations/standards changes 3. Develops and implements monitoring processes to track opportunities for improvement 4. Designs and implements compliance strategies 5. Responsible for regulatory preparation (applications, unit prep and follow-up) for QRS and Joint Commission 6. Participates in the organization’s patient safety program 7. Attends required training that supports job responsibilities 8. Reports unannounced survey activity at the facility to the CQPSO for reporting up to appropriate HCA Division and corporate entities. 9. Assists with State, CM and other surveys 10. Communicates opportunities for improvement at Nursing Leadership Council 11. Provides policy/procedure drafts to assure regulatory compliance with standards/goals 12. Provides reports of compliance quarterly to the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Council 13. Assist with other regulatory requirements (Leapfrog, FMEA, RCA’s as required)

  • Current Tennessee RN licensure or Tennessee LPN licensure with plan to complete RN training & sit exam within 24 months of hire
  • Clinical Background: 5 years of experience, regulatory background preferred
  • BS or equivalent experience
  • Technical skills: teaching, written, verbal, facilitation, computer, Internet/research
