We are currently seeking a Billing Representative to join our New York City, NY team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity with great growth potential. This position will be responsible for accurate and timely billing of orders submitted, supporting multiple divisions / teams billing processes and perform other tasks as required to support the Finance team.

Our “ideal candidate” is an individual has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with 2+ years working in a billing or accounting role.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Create, proof and mail/post invoices to the web for the Brokerage sales teams;

  • Generation, review and updating of twice daily auto-gens;

  • Generation of Credits/ Rebills/ invoice revisions as requested by sales teams;

  • Assist in various tasks to facilitate the monthly close of the billing processes;

  • Download and manipulate billing related documents via Excel and Access;

  • Ability to organize and prioritize as needed;

  • Works closely with profit center Account Executives with billing problems;

  • Files and maintains reports;

  • Complete other special projects as assigned.

    In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related major a plus;

  • 2+ years in an office environment;

  • Prior Billing experience, exposure to Accounting or Customer Service is a plus;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel & Word;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Ability to demonstrate & maintain a professional and courteous manner;

  • Ability to work independently and adjust daily tasks as needed for work flow;

  • Strong problem-solving ability and usage of effective listening skills;

  • High level of attention to detail;

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/responsibilities;

  • Must be team-oriented.
