Senior Director, Masterpass Service Transformation


Masterpass is a simple, convenient, trusted digital wallet for faster safe shopping at thousands of online merchants. This role will be responsible for designing the next generation services and tools required to deliver Masterpass.

The role will take the existing Masterpass Merchant and Wallet services, SDKs and Reference Implementations and enhance, optimize, modularize and bring a consistency of vision to their design, delivery and maintenance.

Gather business needs from relevant product owners, subject matter experts & business owners and translate into technical requirements.

Gain a technically detailed understanding of all existing Masterpass systems and tools.

Design a strategy that will continuously improve the delivery and maintenance of Masterpass APIs, systems, and tools such as SDKs and Reference Implementations.

Define and deliver the technical upgrade roadmap for Masterpass-related Services, SDKs, APIs, documentation and reference implementations.

Represent Masterpass as the technical authority on Masterpass technical transformation.

Provide input to product implementation teams optimizing the Masterpass service.

Leading expert in the definition and development of service design.

Proven expertise in delivering greater business value through service and technology transformation.

Experienced in providing highly available & responsive web services.

Working knowledge of digital wallets and their drivers/challenges.

Strong technical competence in the area of e-comm and mobile payment products.

Technical awareness of contactless, EMV and magnetic stripe payment products.

Excellent oral and written communication, project management and matrix-management skills.

Experience of managing internal and external suppliers assisting in the development of complex technical products and systems.
