Due to continued growth, Hobart Service is looking for an experienced Install Team Leader to join their team.

This position is based in Chicagp, IL under the direction of the Install Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation of the various components for food equipment. Work onsite to set-up and program and also dismantle and reconstruct equipment when necessary. As an Install Team Leader, you will contact customer prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule. Provide guidance and coaching to installers as it related to work assignments, specific work steps, proper and safe use of all tool and/or machinery or overall job performance. The individual will consistently achieve or surpass weekly productivity and service labor revenue goals assigned by management, while maintaining a high level of customer service skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: adjusting, aligning, assembling, calibrating, inspecting, lubrication and testing of commercial food prep equipment, electrical/mechanical and electronics troubleshooting; will work out solutions in the best interest of the customer; will be responsible for vehicle inventory and appearance; will need to satisfactorily complete company schools or audio/video field training.
Candidate will comply with all applicable service policies and procedures, maintain frequent contact with the office to receive service assignments and review service problems with advisor, or manager. Must be available for overtime and on-call schedule.
To be considered for this exceptional career opportunity you must have at least the following:
Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED
Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude
3-5 years of experience in Commercial install experience
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and able to drive multiple hours per day
Able to travel and attend training schools
Read blue prints and schematic drawings.
Have Experience in Welding, Hydraulics and/or Electrical Skills
Understand How to Troubleshoot Mechanical Problems
Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge
Basic knowledge of CO2 and Freon
Operate hand and power tools
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office products excel, Word, Outlook
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder
Extensive driving up to 5-6 hours/day
Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
OT as required
