Global Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) is a best-in-class, Global HR Service Delivery organization of approximately 650 people, servicing the entire global population of JPMC, currently totaling over 240,000 employees worldwide, in 60 countries. The HRSD Business Systems Testing Associate will report to the HRSD Business Systems Testing Director, and will be assisting with business process and systems testing associated with key HRSD initiatives. The initial effort will support the firm’s Business Travel Tax Program, a new effort which ensures appropriate payroll tax withholding when employees travel on business.
This is a business-side role that will interface with HRSD service personnel and the HRSD Testing team to execute testing across HRSD projects and BAU work as assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience in test execution, possess good judgment, and can quickly learn how to effectively test processes and systems across all areas of HRSD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform end-to-end testing of processes, systems and data flows in support of regional and global HRSD programs and initiatives, including the Global Business Travel Tax Program
Provide support for all testing aspects of BAU and project work, conducted internally and externally by third party vendors
Conduct all testing activities with great diligence, tracking results against objectives, maintaining test documentation and raising up issues and defects appropriately while tests are conducted
Complete and submit reports on testing the test progress on a daily basis including reporting on testing status, defects, issues and risks
Participate in determiningtesting approach, standards and documentation as well as testing action plans that result from defects and learnings
Suggest ways to improve quality and efficiency in all areas of testing
Provide support in remediation of defects including re-testing
Escalate testing issues to leadership as appropriate in a timely actionable way
Some domestic and international travel may be required in this role, as this role will support testing in all regions
Other duties as assigned and based on level of skill and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
3-5 years of applicable testing and project experience
Has solid data and systems skills, including excel
Is process-oriented; process re-engineering experience if a definite asset
Is results-oriented and proactive while consistently delivering against deadlines
Possesses sound judgment and makes appropriate decision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understands importance of regular communication with working team andleadership during testing work
Detail-oriented individual with very strong organizational skills
Experience in HR, Payroll and Tax work is an asset
