Emergency Services Clinician/Community Safety Liaison

This position combines two great positions working at our Emergency Services program in Norwood.

In the role of the Safety Liaison the employee is focused on impacting the delivery system to improve the safety, efficiency and care received by clients with very high usage of services.

As an Emergency Services Clinician the employee will be part of one of our 24 hour Emergency Services Teams, providing psychiatric evaluation and risk assessment at private homes, groups homes, outpatient offices, ED settings, or any other mobile location.

Clinical supervision is available as well as collaboration with licensed senior clinicians. Riverside offers an outstanding staff training program including free CEUs/CEs in Social Work, LMHC, LMFT, Nursing and Psychology.

The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the mental health system and experience participating in external meetings such as with hospitals, community providers, public safety, and insurers.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of one year experience working within a community setting with children, adolescents and their families required Required Experience

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health discipline required. LICSW, LMHC or LCSW preferred

  • Minimum of three years post Masters experience, with demonstrated experience in Emergency Services program
