          Metaldyne Maintenance Technician A in Noth Vernon Indiana United States

          Description/Job Summary
          2nd & 3rd Shift Machining Department Maintenance Tech's
          Maintenance Tech:Candidates should have an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology or equivalent and/or a minimum of 5 years of work experience.Candidate must posses a strong knowledge of Electro / Mechanical Automation.
          > Troubleshooting and repair complex CNC machining, robotics, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment through a variety
          of methods.

          >Is able to perform service work on air and coolant lines.

          > Rebuild and/or repair as well as reassemble machines and equipment.

          > Is able to use test equipment such as AC/DC volt, Ohm meters, etc. to troubleshoot and gage repaired equipment.

          > Connect hydraulic lines to new fixtures and test to insure the equipment is functioning properly.

          > Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic components, valves, cycliners, and pressure regulators.

          > Is able to perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment as prescribed.
