Work to procure quality appraisals as quickly as possible while maintaining appraiser independence, regulatory, and investor requirements.
Follow up on past due appraisals.
Efficiently locate qualified appraisers to appraise properties on manually assigned orders.
Act as intermediary between loan production staff and appraisers.
Responsible for payment of appraisal and evaluations services for both internal and external real estate valuation services.
Maintain Approved Appraiser list with current licenses and qualifications.
Process mailings of valuations to external customers.
Process requests for additions/deletions to Approved Appraiser List. Includes setting up new appraisers with proper access to appraisal management systems.
Responsible for setting up new employee accounts and terminating existing accounts in appraisal management systems.
Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to the role.
Submit current forms and publications for placement on the Intranet.
Maintenance of vendor records within the corporate Vendor Management Systems.
Order office supplies.
Coordinate travel when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Appraisal or lending industry experience desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and adhere to established deadlines.
Basic PC and office equipment skills including Microsoft Office products and accounting systems.
High School Diploma with advanced education preferred.
