Kratos Technology & Training Solutions Senior Contract Administrator in Orlando, Florida
The Senior Contract Administrator administers contracts, including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting and Data or product delivery (contract life cycle), DoD and commercial Contracts, FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) 12, FAR 13 and FAR 15 awards in all Contract types. Leads and facilitates negotiations of varying types of proposals, contracts, and subcontracts in accordance with company requirements and federal procurement guidelines. This position will:
Ensures timely processing of data deliverables to customer and updates tracking system.
Modifies contract schedules and participates in agreement negotiations when required.
Generates reports on contract and subcontract activity as required.
Reviews and approves subcontractor invoices in accordance with contract flowdown.
Maintains and updates contract record.
Acts as proposal contract lead and participates in the preparation of proposals including completion and/or coordination of requirements.
Maintains and updates a bid and proposal log.
Serves as a liaison with customer and subcontractor regarding contracting issues, pre and post award.
Executes all phases of subcontract lifecycle, as assigned.
Prepares support documents for independent consultant agreements, which support contract requirements.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices, corporate and Government.
Maintains ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Compliance and EAR (Export Administration Regulations) Compliance and business unit tracking.
Act as negotiation lead for Teaming, Non-Disclosure and Software License agreements.
Supports and/or participates in DoS license preparation, submission and management, TAA and MLA generation, submission and management.
Participates in Process Improvement initiatives, able to work with other departments on processes.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. 7-10 years of related experience in contracts administration.
Strong familiarity with ISO and/or CMMI.
Full knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in contracts administration.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS.
Proposal writing experience, desirable.
Effective administrative and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills - internal and external.
Professional certification (eg. CPCM or equivalent) preferred.
