The Lead Manager, Personal Investors Experience is responsible for supporting the execution of a comprehensive strategy to manage and grow the Personal Investors client segment. In this capacity, the incumbent identifies trends in client & market behavior as well as provides inputs and recommendations for strategy as well as channel, marketing, and product development. The Lead Manager, Personal Investors Experience works closely with the senior managers and business partners to understand client needs and translate them into strategies that drive engagement, deepen relationships with the firm, increase retention, increase satisfaction and loyalty, and generate net new flows. This role will be responsible for monitoring and managing the key performance indicators, partnering to enhance and package analytics to communicate key driver and outcome metrics, Works with the Personal Investor experience team to package presentation materials to articulate strategies, results and recommendations.


Strategy Execution

Manages the execution of the strategic plans by developing and implementing multi-channel engagement strategies aimed at driving positive client behaviors and loyalty for Personal Investors. The Lead Manager is responsible for using data and program analytics to develop new strategies to drive business results.

Strategic Development and Management

Supports the development and implementation of the strategic plan that drives results for Personal Investors and the firm. The Lead Manager manages complex projects from inception through completion, leveraging the operating model to ensure effective resource alignment.

Conceives, develops and implements engagement programs and services for Personal Investors. Independently leads initiatives by defining the segment-specific vision, developing the business case, aligning resources and developing communication plans. The Lead Manager manages complex projects from inception through completion, leveraging the operating model to ensure effective resource alignment.

Monitors Performance, Evaluates Effectiveness, Identifies Growth Opportunities, and Makes Recommendations

Scans environment, competitive landscape, monitors client trends, and incorporates voice of customer feedback from channel partners to identify gaps and opportunities for Personal Investors. Manages and evaluates the effectiveness of existing engagement strategies against goals by leveraging a data-driven approach and thoughtful communication to key stakeholders.




  • Experience in marketing for a financial services firm or other similarly regulated industry

  • Knowledge of FINRA and MSRB compliance

  • Experience marketing individual investor products or services


  • College degree and 6 years of related work experience, or

  • Associate degree and 8 years related work experience, or

  • High School diploma/equivalent and 10 years related work experience

  • Proven experience in a marketing and/or strategic planning role

  • Marketing/IT development experience

  • Experience in managing successful relationships with external clients, partners and vendors

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and creatively

  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of functional areas: Sales, Creative, Technical

  • Proven ability to research, identify, interpret, and prioritize market needs

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
