The Lead Manager, Workplace Offers initiates and/or leads new, complex, multi-faceted targeted engagement strategies, initiatives, promotions or research projects related to Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Sourced Investors in close connection with business partners. Lead Manager, Workplace Offers works closely with their business partners to understand participant needs and translate them into targeted engagement strategies that drive engagement, deepens relationships with the firm, increases retention and generates net new flows


Strategic Development and Management: Supports the development and implementation of the strategic plan that drives results for workplace investors and the firm. Conceives, develops and implements engagement programs and services for Workplace Investors. Independently leads initiatives by defining the segment-specific vision, developing the business case, aligning resources and developing communication plans. The Lead Manager manages complex projects from inception through completion, leveraging the operating model to ensure effective resource alignment. Helps lead idea generation, concept development and execution of creative products in alignment with the workplace investor client experience vision. Programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Leverage digital resources to develop digital experiences designed to increase engagement and action Develop communications programs to participants/customers to deepen engagement & encourage action

  • Leads In-person experience development strategies (e.g. Employee Meeting Team) to drive asset consolidation behaviors

Strategic Execution: Manages the execution of the strategic marketing plan by developing and implementing , multi-channel engagement strategies aimed at driving positive behaviors (in-plan, cross-over and retention) for Workplace Investors. In partnership with Individual Investor Channels and PSC, develops new programs to engage participants with offers. The Lead Manager, is responsible for using data and program analytics to develop new strategies to drive business results.

Monitors Performance, Evaluates Effectiveness, Identifies Growth Opportunities and Makes Recommendations: Scans environment, competitive landscape, monitors client trends, and incorporates voice of customer feedback from channel partners to identify gaps and opportunities for Workplace Investor engagements. Manages and evaluates the effectiveness of existing targeted engagement strategies. Leverages understanding of targeted segments, their mind-set and competitive and industry insights to develop recommendations for new offers or program enhancements. This role will be responsible for monitoring and managing the key performance indicators for this sub-segment. Partners to enhance and package analytics to ensure key driver and outcome metrics are available to help understand program impact.



  • College degree and 4 years of related work experience, or Associate degree and 6 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 8 years related work experience

  • Experience with Project Effectiveness Tools including Investigation, Cost/Benefit Analysis, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Performs well under time-sensitive deadlines

  • Possesses strong organizational and project management skills

  • Demonstrated persuasive techniques and negotiation skills

  • Five or more years of Project Management experience leading initiatives of varying size and scope

  • Possesses proficient understanding of the creative development and production process

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • MBA preferred

  • Seven to nine years related marketing experience preferred

  • In depth Financial Services Industry experience preferred

  • Marketing Industry experience preferred

  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams preferred
