Position Description:

This is a IT Auditor- Entry Level supporting the Global Infrastructure Services Delivery organization. The position will lead projects that introduce or significantly improve processes, reporting and analysis that will lead to improved performance of service delivery.

This person will work across all delivery towers bringing together the resources required to delivery projects on time and on budget. Position requires knowledge of infrastructure IT outsourcing. Skills required include business planning, program management, finance, compliance and IT security.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Participates in audits at the direction of a senior auditor or manager

• Learns and participates in all aspects of the end to end audit process

• Collects, collates and examines records for evidence of compliance with management frameworks, or the identification of abnormal occurrences

• Assesses and communicates risks to senior auditors and / or manager

• Escalates issues and risks in a timely manner by effective written communications

• Fully participates in the development and continuous improvement of a high performing team; conforms to norms, behaviors and activities including setting expectations, development plans, monthly reports and annual evaluations

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

One year of experience in the area of quality, internal/ external auditing is preferred. Additional proficiencies and requirements should include:

• Communications – oral and written

• Presentation skills

• Analytical

• Very well organized

• Familiar with Microsoft tools

• NIST 800-53 familiarity a plus

• Some knowledge of industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI, SSAE16 and Fed RAMP is a plus


BS/BA degree required in a business discipline.

The US GISOD is a leveraged organization and many of our members support multiple client projects. These client contracts may require background checks for all members working within the client environment. Additionally, some require screening above and beyond what is required as standard screening for CGI employment in the US; to include, but not limited to, additional criminal history, drug screening and credit reporting in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. These background checks are client specific and in most cases are not transferable from one client account to the next. In order to meet the requirements of a leveraged organization, members of the US Tier 1 team may be required to complete multiple background checks during their career at CGI. All new hires into the US Tier 1 team will be required to complete client background check requests within the timeframe stated in the client contract, as a condition of employment with CGI.
