Job Details:Supports and carries out responsibilities of the Health Services Department by entering non-clinical precertifications into the CareStepp system. Monitors and ensures that the online precertification system is fully operational. Responsible for timely and accurate submission of decisions related to prior authorization requests. Assists provider offices as related to precertification. Identifies system problems and takes corrective action. Provides training for the on-line precertification system. Provides troubleshooting for online precertification and First Step to Health Systems. Qualifications: High School graduate required. Minimum of two years' medical office experience preferred. College training or Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Excellent computer skills in MSWord, Outlook and Excel.
