Providence Health & Services Mental Health Nurse - Clinical Development Specialist (Temporary Assignment) in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Mental Health Nurse - Clinical Development Specialist to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland , OR.
Note: This is a 90-day temporary assignment.
In this position, you will:
Develop education and programs that support the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility level, in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.
Strategically plan for education and programs to ensure a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and have cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.
Focus on patient-centeredness and staff and patient safety.
Support standards and systems for care delivery for their facility, which promote evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, and available resources.
Lead in education and planning strategically, consistently support efficient and effective patient care services, and support the organizational and system goals.
Advance the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence.
Constructively manage change and promote a team-based approach.
Required q ualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)Master's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's in related fieldCurrent Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License6 years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles
Preferred q ualifications for this position include:
- National Certification from American Nurses Association (ANA) or Professional Organization in relevant field of clinical expertise
