E-Time Application Consultant (eTIME Application Services Consultant)

ADP Global eTIME Services is growing and seeking talented, goal-driven and results-oriented eTIME Application Services Consultant. The eTIME Application Services Consultant is responsible for providing solutions for escalated technical and application issues and support the client and front line associates to work pro-actively and realize individual client needs. Very strong troubleshooting and analysis skills are a must.

The successful candidate must be able to analyze client issues and/or use-case to ensure understanding of challenges and/or requirements to make independent recommendations to resolve issues and/or successfully deploy the product. The candidate will work with other support team members, management staff, internal and external partners, vendors, and the client’s end users at various levels of technical ability and application experience; utilizing technical expertise, product training and knowledge of the deployed hosting and premise infrastructure, networks, programming and relational database concepts.

The candidate must possess proven consultative, analytical and technical abilities necessary to implement high quality, sound solutions for new and existing clientele.They will also be tasked with translating highly technical information to a non-technical audience. In addition, effective communication, presentation and teaming skills are required to support the organizations high client satisfaction targets.

This position requires travel between 10-40% depending on client and training needs.This position requires language proficiency in English and the prominent regional language (to be defined by open position).

Experience, Skills, Academic

TheeTIME Application Services Consultant will be required to diagnose and resolve issues related to corrupt data, application program code errors, system performance, operating environment, or third party system problems such as, but not limited to; Java, Oracle, Windows, SQL Server, SQL queries, VMWare, Terminal Services, WebSphere, Visual Basic, patch and upgrade installation.

This position requires a high level of self motivation and self-supervision with emphasis on client satisfaction and efficiently providing support. The ability to multitask is a must. High level of flexibility in a changing environment with external-facing clients is required.


§ Minimum of two years experience in an application support role, as a business analyst, consultant or practitioner in a relevant industry, or with enterprise level software implementations required

§ Excellent SQL querying skills in Oracle and SQL Server environments

§ Able to resolve common Java Runtime Environment conflicts

§ Should possess thorough understanding and background in the utilization of Internet based software and/or utilities including but not limited to Java, Internet Explorer, Desktop Streaming, IIS or Apache§ General application support knowledge

§ Knowledge of Adobe Flash, HTML, XML, JavaScript, VBScript and Java technologies is a plus
