Overview:\nUS Markets Customer Incentives represent a significant portion of MasterCard€™s total Contra Revenue. As a result of the high degree of financial exposure, Customer Incentives are highly scrutinized. \nThe Sr Professional, Financial Analysis in NA Markets requires a highly detailed, highly motivated, and experienced Accountant who has the ability to integrate Accounting theory and Accounting principles with organizational practices and precedents. \nThe individual will manage the daily process of Accounting and work in partnership with Business Planning on Forecasting, Budgeting and Planning for select US Markets Customer Incentives. \nThe incumbent€™s primary responsibility is to ensure monthly financials are prepared and delivered as required by Corporate Finance guidelines. Prepare month end accounting for all NA Markets.\nDo you want to be part of a team that will enhance your skills and experience?\nHave you ever written policy and procedures to help change?\nDo you want to help drive change and standardization?\n \nRole:\nContribute materially to the development of guidelines and procedures that impact achievement of results within NA Markets. Engage in communications with Corporate and Regional Finance regarding month end.\nCompile support for monthly journal entries, submit for approval and prepares the monthly NA Markets general ledger account reconciliations.\nAssist merchant teams to analyze their respective P&Ls, forecast, identify and size risk and opportunities, and making appropriate mitigating decisions\nReview complex payments that have multiple contract obligations and clauses. Produce, review, cross-check to Enterprise reporting, and other bank related data. Review claw backs and validate the calculation to produce GL entries. \nPrepare initial drafts of contract accounting summaries for newly executed US Market contracts.\nFacilitate the payment process for all NA Markets Incentive Programs and ensure compliance with company€™s policies. This includes recalculation of formulas, verifying statistics to internal sources and mapping the payment request to the contract.\n\nAll About You:\nBachelor€™s degree in Accounting or Finance\nUnderstanding of US GAAP is required\nIdeal candidate is fast paced, highly analytical and detail oriented who demonstrates sense of urgency, financial and business acumen to deliver results\nProven skills communicating with all levels of management\nMS Office skill especially Excel and Power Point is required\nExperience in general ledger financial systems; preferably Oracle.\nCPA \\ MBA in Accounting - preferred though not required.\nBig 4 accounting experience preferred\n\n*LI-AC1
