Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, HR Business Partner, are to: •Serve as the lead and expert for Talent Management initiatives and HR processes, including but not limited to, the Global Employee survey, People Strategy, Quarterly Talent Reviews and the Annual Talent Review (POC); •Develop and implement action plans based on key themes from talent management reviews. •In collaboration with the Corporate Change Management Team, drive Change Management principles within the division; •Investigate Employee Relations complaints, consulting with HRBP’s, Legal and Corporate Employee Relations as needed; escalate complex investigations when required; •In partnership with the HRBPs, identify key actions across the business to ensure workforce planning/succession planning objectives are met; Manage the Succession Plan and the drive Talent Pipeline for overall division; •Identify process improvements and recommend innovative techniques to support the business needs; •Analyze common themes from the Global Employee Survey; develop action plans and communication strategy; •Help on-board new HRBP’s; •Participate on corporate, business and HR work-streams as assigned; •In partnership with the HRBPs, develop and/or assess the effectiveness of career paths, job ladders, and job descriptions; ensure validity and consistency of use within the business units; •Provide strategic and tactical assistance to HRBPs on projects, as requested, to support business initiatives; •Participate on due diligence/acquisition teams; •Develop communications on local HR initiatives, via an HR newsletter or presentation, for distribution; •Coordinate, facilitate and train core programs such as Competency Training, New Manager On Boarding and Discovering Bayer; •Serve as a single point of contact for corporate teams and dissemination of information to HRBPs; •Provide coverage to HR Business Partners while on vacation, traveling or out of the office; •Attend business meetings, as requested, to represent Human Resources educating business leaders on new or upcoming HR deliverables;

More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; •A minimum of 7 years HR experience with at least 5 years of broad generalist experience; •In-depth knowledge of HR processes, legal and EEOC laws and regulations; •Demonstrated ability dealing with complex employee relations issues at all organizational levels; •Ability to build strong partnerships across HR teams; •Demonstrated Project management skills; •Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; •Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization; •Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems and implement solutions; •Comfortable dealing with and able to influence senior managers; •Deals effectively with global and local complexities; •Experience in talent development, organization development and succession planning ; •Understanding of business and financial impacts derived from HR decisions and policies; •Data Analysis and ability to build recommendations from data; •Strong MS-Office skills; Experience utilizing HRIS systems, preferably SAP-HR.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Experience in working in a global environment and matrix organization; •Due diligence and acquisition experience; •PHR Certification.
