Psychologist Riverside Clinic, Rhinelander, WI OP Behavioral Health Monday-Friday, 36 hrs/wk Is responsible for providing psychological assessment and testing, report writing, consultation, and therapy to child/adolescent patients in outpatient clinic setting. S/he will participate in evaluation, diagnosis, and the development of treatment plans for patients. Provides supervision to clinical staff. Expertise in assessment of child/adolescent population from ages 6-16, along with experience with ages 3-6 a plus. 1. Assumes responsibility for the evaluation, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans for patients.
Participates in multidisciplinary patient evaluation system with collaborative consultation and referral to department/clinic staff.
Provides consultative services to inpatient behavioral health, including assessment , recommendations, and participation in multidisciplinary team, as needed.
Acts as liaison for patients between clinic/hospital staff, other medical/mental health agencies and variety of referral sources in the community.
Provides written documentation of therapy and assessments in patient records according to established guidelines of clinic/hospital and accrediting agencies
Provides supervision as requested.
Participates in administrative and leadership functions, as appropriate, including committee responsibilities within the department, clinic, and hospital, and assists with development and coordination of existing or new programs/services within the department, clinic, or hospital.
Provides educational presentations, inservice training and prevention intervention programs to professional and community groups on a variety of mental health topics, as appropriate.
Adheres to code of ethics set forth by the Wisconsin Board of Examiners in Psychology and the American Psychological Association.
Participates in ongoing training and educational experiences that enhance clinical knowledge and skills, and participates in ongoing training and educational experience as developed and required by appropriate regulatory agencies in the State of Wisconsin.
Professional billings are within budget guidelines. Qualifications: Graduate of a PhD or PsyD Psychology program 2-3 years post doctoral experience preferred Licensed as a Psychologist by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing Expertise in assessment of child/adolescent population from ages 6-16, along with experience with ages 3-6 a plus.
