The Sr. Business Analyst leads the analysis, documentation and validation of business processes and systems with user-stakeholders to identify new technology processes and functional enhancements. They will plan, execute and lead stakeholder requirements gathering and document business processes and procedures. Sr. Business Analysts are accountable for translating requirements into various deliverables such as functional specifications, use cases, workflow/process diagrams, data flow/data model diagrams for key strategic growth initiatives with the Marketing & Supply Chain areas.

Marketing Initiatives :

Personalization & Loyalty Marketing System Enhancements: Support nurturing individual relationships to build customer Lifetime Value via customer identification system improvements, customer account-based offer automation, and customer contact optimization technology implementations that enable lifecycle marketing programs.

Digital Asset Management and Promotion Management System Replacement: Drive significant efficiencies and throughput, setting the stage for personalization at scale, through implementation of leading Digital Asset and Promotion Management platforms.

Supply Chain Initiatives:

Warehouse Management System Replacement: Improve speed, spend, and service in domestic distribution and customer order fulfillment through implementation of new warehouse system by increasing throughput, capacity and productivity of our large and small product warehouses.

Transportation Management System Replacement: Drive significant cost savings and operational efficiencies in domestic transportation through the implementation of a new transportation management system enabling optimized routing, flexible modeling, and financial evaluations.

Key position responsibilities include:

  • Leads and monitors the planning and executing of business analysis activities including stakeholder analysis, managing project risks and issues, monitor and report on requirements activities, participating or facilitating user acceptance testing through internal and/or external resources.

  • Leads the preparation and execution of requirements gathering, driving and documenting of stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development and testing phases.

  • Leads the translation of stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables for projects with high complexity. Is able to accurately direct or lead the work of other BAs or outsourced vendors.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of business systems functionality and interconnectedness. Is able to effectively communicate functionality and requirements needed through all levels of the business and IT.

  • Leads testing plan and process for complex products and user acceptance test phases. Creates test scenarios for both phases; participates in user acceptance testing. Debugs data issues between and within systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities in one more of the following areas, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities:

  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst

  • Business Process Re-engineering

  • Project Management

  • Product Design

  • System Development, Test Design and Execution

  • Experience with various software development methodologies (iterative, agile etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with Marketing related technologies such as Adobe, IBM and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms, customer data and analytics platforms; or Supply Chain-related technologies such as Manhattan Associates, JDA Systems
