PAE is currently seeking an Estimator to support US Embassy Operations Worldwide.

  • Prepare cost estimates for constructions projects to aid management in bidding on or determining price for product or service

  • Must specialize according to particular service performed and type of product manufactured. Comprehensive understanding of international coefficients preferred. RS Means experience required

  • Estimates labor and material costs of request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers

  • Analyzes specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts, and calculates production costs using labor and material pricing schedules and historical data

  • Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors

  • Computes cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work and labor

  • Creates cost models for cost estimating elements

  • Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors Prepares, develops, coordinates, and integrates all levels of plans and schedules

  • Integrates with and across disciplines to ensure resultant plans and schedules accurately and comprehensively define the actual work content, relationships and durations


  • 3 Years of Experience in Planning and Cost Estimating Has extensive knowledge of program life cycles, and works with technical community, operational community and program management to translate customer requirements into a schedule

  • Experience developing proposals and assuming leadership roles in their development

  • Cost Works reporting / Primavera scheduling knowledge

  • Candidate will have extensive experience with the IMS toolsets and programs utilized to support

  • Metric Report generation and analysis, including Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools Experience utilizing critical path analysis, headlight metric data, schedule risk assessment data, EV data and other

  • Secret Clearance Required


  • High School diploma or possess a diploma from a technical or vocational school or have acquired equivalent military training is preferred
