Job Description
Our client is seeking CCTV and Card Access Installation Technician to join their growing team and are offering temp to hire positions.
To be considered applicants must have three to five years experience in installation of security, alarm and card access systems.Programming experience strongly desired but can train.
Must have a valid NYS driver’s license, good driving record and be eligible for security clearance.
Security Installation Technician Responsibilities include:
Responsible for timely, on budget installations of projects.
Provide panel terminations,programming is a real plus,start up and testing of security and alarm systems.
Will installed, (possibly programmed) and repaired security systems and related equipment, such as CCTV
and Card Access control and fire alarm systems. Bocsh and Axis programming a plus.
Complete daily assignments and work orders as scheduled in professional manner.
Must have a good understanding of work orders, manuals, blueprints and schematic diagrams to determine
service and repair of security alarm system.
Ability to programmed security systems and related equipment is desired, and knowledge of operation of control panels is desired.
Must have good troubleshooting, diagnosing and ability in solving systems problems and failures.
Must ensure work is in accordance with applicable codes and standard practices.
Wil providing system turnover to customers including training.
Providing on site service during and after normal business hours.
OSHA 10 certification a plus.
NICET certification a plus
