Overtime Status: Nonexempt (N) Reports to/Dept: [[oc_deptinfo]] Shift: 10p-8a Wed-Sat Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician Owens Corning is a manufacturer of extruded polystyrene foam board insulation for primary use in the construction industry. We are currently seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our Rockford Illinois Manufacturing plant. This is a full-time opportunity involving a non-rotating Wed – Sat 3 rd shift position. The successful candidate will have previous work experience in a fast-paced industrial, team-based environment. The Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician must have an electrical /electronic background with a strong mechanical aptitude. Qualified candidates will be able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices, be computer literate and capable of reading mechanical and electrical prints. Minimum 2 years experience in an Industrial maintenance environment; above average ladder logic and PLC skills a must. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Tech school or Technical Maintenance related certification preferred. Background in industrial electricity preferred. Experience in an industrial maintenance environment preferred.
