The CS Warranty Support serves as a support for the warranty process and responds to customer’s inquiries and concerns. This position is responsible for supporting the customer service warranty team in providing superior customer service.
• Obtains necessary paperwork for warranty issues
• Coordinates inspection of defective product • Assists in the evaluation of claims that inspections are not required • Communicates actions to customers • Escalates appropriate complaints to Senior Customer Service Warranty Coordinator or Supervisor • Tracks claims/warranties by fax, e-mail, and mail • Performs data entry
• Maintains a positive image of the company through all business relationships, both internal and external
• Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor and/or Senior Management
Knowledge Requirements: • Microsoft Office
Professional Experience • 1+ years of Customer Service Experience
Education/Training • High School diploma or general education degree (GED), two years or more related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to read and interpret financial reports, documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
