Job Description

Position at Commercial Construction North America

The Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Intern for ITW Commercial Construction North America that will work with and lead a cross-functional team in process improvement activities. The intern will help map out the process, collect data, and, from this data, make recommendations for improvement or change.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with operation teams to map process flows on specific areas of manufacturing including the following:

  • Create a process flow maps

  • Identify areas to improve efficiencies

  • Evaluate capacity of current equipment

  • Improve scheduling processes to level load equipment and personnel to meet customer demand

Job Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office

  • Basic CAD modeling ad experience with SolidWorks a plus

  • Good Communication skills both written and verbal

  • Must be Hands-on
