Position at Alpine

Alpine, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Production Supervisor for our facility in Sacramento, CA to ensure delivery of quality, cost effective products to customers by directing, developing, training and leading employees in inventory management, manufacturing and shipping processes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organizing and executing manufacturing plans

  • Supervise activities and employees; trains and develops manufacturing personnel

  • Produces to market rate of demand, develops and monitors production quality

  • Ensures a safe work environment through inter-departmental efforts by identifying and driving preventive incident measures and initiatives

  • Contributes to process improvement by reviewing quality, production, safety, inventory and cycle time performance and makes recommendations related to the manufacturing process, documentation, layout, and equipment improvements

  • Drives corrective action process to conclusion and verifying resultant performance

  • Maximizes cost effectiveness by ensuring efficient/economical utilization of manpower, material, time and equipment

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor degree OR relevant manufacturing/distribution experience

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in facilitating or supervising in a manufacturing/distribution environment

  • Leadership experience in an empowered work team environment.

  • Disciplined self-starter with strong organizational skills.

  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solver, solid team skills and proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Working knowledge of the MS Office

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
