CGIs dynamic Sacramento team is searching for a Ruby on Rails Developer who will join a local project team that will be working with a national leader in child welfare policy and practice. The developer will be part of a dynamic Development Team responsible for development, modernization, and enhancement (DME) services and operations and maintenance (O&M) services in a full-throttle development environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Software Developer will be tasked with providing Agile development and maintenance capabilities to sustain, enhance, and modernize a government-wide application for our customer. Critical success factors for the candidate include: high productivity, high quality work, collaboration and cooperation with other teams and participants, estimation and planning skills, innovation and creativity in problem solving, and efficient use of team resources to maximize productivity in named tasks. Additionally, the developer will be responsible for providing input into the organization, direction and management of development activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have at least 1 year experience with Agile Development tools and techniques.
3 yrs, Ruby on Rails, Angular JS, and/or Java. C#/VB.NET.

Microsoft IIS 7/7.5

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fields. Or Equivalent Experience.
