Our client in San Diego is seeking an Executive Assistant with 7 to 10 years of experience. A successful candidate will demonstrate and provide a high level of support with attention to detail, quality focus, high energy and flexibility within a dynamic team environment. This individual will need to work independently as well as in close concert with executive level staff, attorneys and be able to represent that staff with professional courtesy and acumen, and deliver high quality work in support of the team's diverse functions and activities. An ideal candidate is forward thinking, has a strong work ethic, prioritizes work, and is comfortable in a high energy, fast paced work environment.   • Manage corporate book and records

  • Update minutes and perform Blue Sky Filings

  • Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision

  • Proofread, edit, compare and redline documents and effectively navigate and operate within various computer databases relating to areas of responsibility Handle inquiries from internal and external contacts and draft related correspondence

  • Provide general office support (e.g., maintain and organize files, fax, photocopy, schedule meetings and maintain supervisors' calendars, answer telephones, log and place calls, order supplies, prepare expense reports and oversee submission of outside counsel bills and other invoices for payment)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience interfacing with various levels of management including top-level executives

  • Superior organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility

  • Team player

  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills

  • Superior follow-up and attention to detail

  • Ability to work quickly, but accurately

  • Excellent Proofreading skills

  • Related corporate law firm or corporate work experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of or experience working with Worldox and Timeslips

  • Exceptional organizational, proofreading, written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict time constraints and consistently meet assigned deadlines

  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications

  • Knowledge of legal principles, legal terminology and legal research techniques preferred

  • Detail oriented self-starter with demonstrated ability to interact and communicate appropriately and professionally with senior management and Company employees at all levels

  • Solid time management skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with a professional, friendly attitude in a fast-paced work environment

  • Able to work with minimal supervision, work well individually as well as in a team environment, easily share appropriate information, act as a problem solver and readily support colleagues as appropriate
